‘THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX’

KITA was founded by Architect Charoula Lambrou as an innovative architecture and design workshop program for young kids and teenagers. While based on STEAM Learning, the program stimulates the development of Emotional Intelligence.
KITA workshops allow children to develop a holistic approach to process-based learning through hands-on projects, while removing limitations and replacing them with:
  • Curiosity
  • Critique
  • Inquiry
  • Innovation

KITA PHILOSOPHY

Build Confidence And Skills!

  • Behind the KITA philosophy is the use of architecture as a tool for developing Life Skills. Children and Teenagers have the opportunity to experience design practices ‘Tools For Thinking’ inspired by architectural curriculums. The aim is not for children to become architects but through architectural thinking, guided play and discovery-learning KITA focuses on developing skills of:
  • Self-Expression
Express design ideas and develop presentation skills to justify an opinion.
  • Problem Solving
Engage in 2D and 3D construction challenges and work in a team.
  • Critical Thinking
Build a deeper awareness of the surrounding built environment.
  • Creativity
Draw inspiration from art, history, culture, engineering and technology.
